Hi, I'm Jonathan.

I've been known to be a “super connector”; someone who actively strives to facilitate authentic relationships and build communities, both on and off line, in the most effective and efficient way possible. I like that people see me as personable, a relationship expert and even a @JewishEater – my Instagram that highlights some of the best Jewish food on my travels, in Chicago, and from my kitchen.

My interest in people and technology, and how they’re intertwined, started at a young age. I was always drawn towards bringing people together, making powerful introductions, and building strong communities. I don't just meet people — I authentically connect with them.

I am constantly exploring the latest trends to better leverage technology through social platforms and networks for increased brand awareness. During my time as the Director of Programs and Engagement at the University of Wisconsin Hillel Foundation I built a strong student-led community to amplify the organization's social outreach and engagement initiatives. Additionally, I led international immersive and educational experiences, curated daily content for social media channels, and developed impactful volunteer and leadership opportunities.

My current role as a founding team member and growth manager at OneTable denotes various accomplishments: Creating a national host network and fostering relationships with key influencers at food-tech vendors, start-ups, and social dining companies. My role also includes researching and defining new hire roles along with designing a robust launch into six major markets which contributed to a 400% participation increase rate in 2016.

Recently noted as one of JUF’s Chicago’s 36 Under 36, I have been seen as someone actively working to make a difference in my community by placing a high value on trust, acceptance, and collaboration. I recently founded “The People's Pop-Up,” where food facilitates dialogue and action. More details to coming soon.

I’m searching for new projects that place an emphasis on collaboration, digital strategy, and community change. Curious how a platform could transform your online presence? Wondering how to innovate around existing tools and technologies to launch cutting-edge ideas across new, wide audiences? Looking to organize and communicate with your network around important issues and cause campaigns?

Then let’s chat!
